Day 2 - Seoul Korea Autumn

On 2nd day, we planned to go to nami Island , Petite France and Gangchon Rail Bike . We didnt mange to go Petite France because when we reached to Nami island , it was raining and we planned to stay longer time in Nami Islant . When no more rain then took pictures and walking around. So, we stayed about almost half day then go to Gangchon Rail Bike.

Then went back to Myeongdong and visit around. 

1) Nami Island 

Wake up early morning like 5 :30 am and go to metro Yongsan Station. From Yongsan Station, you have to buy ITX train ticket to Gapyeong Station. It will take about 1 hour plus . ITX is the high speed train. You have to buy a separate ticket from the ticket counter or ticket machine .
When reach to Gapyeong Station, you can ask people to take taxi and share the taxi fare ( it is more cheaper as well) . It is save the time and faster way to go to the Nami island station .

Either way , you can take the Gapyeong Tour bus.

For Gapyeong Tour Bus , you can pay the bus fees 6000 won for unlimited ride for a day.

From this tour bus , you can go to The Garden of Morning Calm (아침고요수목원) , Petite France (쁘띠프랑스) , Namiseom Island (남이섬 종합휴양지) . 

  2) Gangchon Rail Bike

We bought ticket from KK day which is below link. We came from Nami island ( Gapyeong Station to Gimyoujeong Train station ) then boarding point is from Gimyoujeong train station .  I is

✓ Boarding point is 1 minute walk from Gimyoujeong train station 
✓ Ending point is 0 minute walk to Gangchon train station 
✓ Only 50 minutes of actual pedaling - not too physically challenging for any age 
✓ Themed tunnels add more fun!

We didnt know that it will take time about 2 hours and the final destination is far away from Metro train station. When we reached to the ending point place. There is no train station nearby. It will take about 20 mins to walk to the train station.  Quite straight forward , turn left to the road and walking all the way till the end and you may see the right side ( there is a train station). I forgot the train station name lolz!!!  

Below pictures are the ending stop. You had to alight there and then turn left and go straight to the main road. You have to walk around 20 mins then you can see the train station at the right side.

Day 1 - Seoul Korea Autumn

Hello Everyone , this is my first time that i am writing for my travel diaries .

Korea is fun , foods and shopping are cheap . You will definitely like it    .

I travelled to Korea 10 days which visited to seoul , jeju and Jeonju .

I will write about Seoul first. Actually , i travelled to Jeju first and i stayed for 3 nights then went back to Seoul .

Pls buy T money card in 7/11 or other convenience stores , it will save you the transportation fare. Pls get the Train/Subway Map and you may go around easily .

1st Day at Seoul 2016 Autumn

I travelled from jeju with domestic flight to Seoul and reached about 1 pm . At the airport , you can ride by bus or by train , we tried to go by train cos it is more cheaper than by bus . Be aware of it , it is very hard to find the lifts or escalators , we managed to carry our big luggage all the way from airport to hotel. If you dont want it , you can go by bus , pls go to the customer service at the airport , they can guide to you how to go and which is the easiest way to go to your destinations.

By Bus to Myeongdong Area – Bus 6015 ( you may find the below link ) it will be useful to you all.

It will take about 1.5 hr or 2 hr to reach our destinations which is in Myeongdong Area .

So, my plan is to go for afternoon >>>>>

1) Seoul Tower

It is located in Myeongdong Station. You just go out from exit 2/3  . You can stay about 1 hour or 2 hour if you like this place.

2 )  Itaewon – Line Cafe

It is located in Itaewon station  ( exist 3 ) and if you walk straight and you will see the Line store.   ( take time 1-2 hr)

Myeongdong also has Line Store , Itaewon is more than bigger than Myeongdong store. So, we chose to go to Itaewon. You will like it 

3)  just go around myeongdong area and go back to hotel
